The Well Church

Hello readers! I hope this finds you all well. I wanted to take a moment, not to write any kind of teaching article, but rather offer you a truly beneficial, and free resource for your spiritual growth, and learning. The Well Church in Stigler, Oklahoma, pastored by my dear friend Daniel Smith, is a non-denominational, non-affiliated church. It is truly a WELL-spring of life-changing biblical exegesis. All of Daniel’s teachings are available on the church’s free app, on their Facebook page, and on their YouTube channel.

I want you all to be aware of these resources and to benefit from truly sound, doctrinal teaching. Daniel’s approach is going through the books of your Bible verse by verse, and providing cultural and worldview context, along with contextual biblical language explanation. I cannot point you to better pastoral teacher, (and I know hundreds who claim to be.) Apart from renowned, highly respected biblical scholars, who know biblical languages and have a keen understanding of the worldview of the biblical authors, Daniel’s ministry is truly the best thing I can freely add to your lives.

Go to your respective “app store” (if possible), and search “The Well Stigler” in your search bar. Below is the image of the church Logo.

Simply download the app for free and you will find hundreds of exegetical teachings here alone. I highly suggest the “Life of Christ” series for all. It consists of 93 thirty+ minute lessons, walking you through the life of Jesus in chronological order of events, explaining the cultural nuances and Hebraisms that are important to understanding the intent and meaning of the texts.

You will find the books of 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, 1 and 2 Peter, Jude, John’s epistles, and the VERY necessary clarification on the book of Romans. Romans sheds an exposing light on the heresies taught today concerning salvation. This app alone is invaluable to your spiritual growth and understanding. The only thing I ever tell people is that if the resource teaches and enriches their lives, then you should give in support of the ministry. I have never pointed anyone to these things, that their lives were not blessed, their understanding challenged, and their eyes opened, (to the degree they would allow God to do so.) But I have seen many feed from this man’s ministry, and never support the ministry financially. That is very sad, because it is a command of Christ to give to those who feed you. But I leave those things for God to deal with. Greed is idolatry.

The Well YouTube channel

Above is the image of the church’s YouTube channel, where you can find video of Sunday morning’s messages with power-points, as well as past Wednesday night book discussions, going through the Acts of the Apostles in context, the books of Genesis and Exodus explained, verse by verse, and much more. All is freely provided for the “whosoever will.” Go get some for God’s glory! Share with others! I have had readers from over 150 countries on this platform. I want nothing from them, but for them to spread these resources to their friends and countrymen. Jesus said, “Freely you have received, freely give!” Share it!!!!

Daniel Smith is a devout scholarly mind, who is fluent in both ancient biblical Hebrew, as well as modern Hebrew, and is currently pursuing his Koine Greek education. He studies 8+ hours a day, (as Pastors should), so as to feed proven truth to God’s people, and he “puts his money where his mouth is“, as they say, meaning he invests in his study resources, to best feed the flock God has given him. Though he has his immediate flock at the church in Oklahoma, it is abundantly obvious that his ministry reach is far greater than that. It is about to reach you and yours as well, and thank God for that.

So…..my purpose for this writing is to offer you all an invaluable opportunity to grow, be challenged and shaped, and for you to be equipped to escape and depart from the false messengers that are the many in today’s “church” identity. God bless you and keep you, and remember to support those who feed your spiritual life with real Truth. Someone asked me last week, “Chris, with all the voices speaking, how do we know who is right?” The answer is easy: Jesus said, “You will know the truth and the truth will free you.” Only truth is uncomfortable, calls you to accountability and responsibility for your deeds, and calls you to defeat your sin issues by the power Christ afforded you, in providing His Spirit to come dwell in you, so that you and I may walk “just as Jesus walked.” Every voice not speaking that is a liar.

1 John 2:3-6

“Now by this we know that we have come to know God: if we keep his commandments. The one who says “I have come to know God” and yet does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in such a person. But whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has been perfected. By this we know that we are in him. The one who says he resides in God ought himself to walk JUST AS JESUS WALKED.
